What Are Out-of-Network Benefits?
Out-of-network benefits are a feature of some insurance plans that allow you to see healthcare providers who aren't officially part of your insurance company's network. This gives you more flexibility in choosing your therapist or doctor.
How do they work?
Here's the typical process: You pay for your therapy session in full at the time of service. Afterwards, you can submit a claim to your insurance company to request partial reimbursement. The amount you get back varies depending on your specific insurance plan and its out-of-network coverage.
Simplify Reimbursement
We understand that dealing with insurance claims can be time-consuming and frustrating. That's why we've partnered with Thrizer, a service that streamlines the reimbursement process for you. Thrizer acts as an intermediary between our practice and your insurance company.
After each session, we will provide you with a superbill. You upload the superbill into your free Thrizer account, and Thrizer automatically submits a claim to your insurance provider on your behalf. This eliminates the need for you to handle paperwork or follow up with your insurance company.
By using Thrizer, we aim to reduce the administrative burden on you, allowing you to focus on your therapy and well-being rather than getting bogged down in insurance paperwork. Scroll down to see some examples of how we can make therapy more affordable for you.
Our Commitment
We're committed to making your therapy experience as smooth as possible, both in and out of the session room. If you have any questions about out-of-network benefits or how Thrizer works, don't hesitate to ask. We're here to help you navigate this process and make the most of your insurance coverage.
