Payment and Insurance
Investing in Therapy
Investing in your mental health is one of the most valuable commitments you can make for your overall well-being. Therapy provides a safe, supportive environment to explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, leading to personal growth, improved relationships, and a better quality of life.
At New England Counseling and Consulting, we strive to make high-quality mental health care accessible and affordable. We accept many insurance plans and offer competitive private pay rates. Read our blog to learn more about alternate ways of paying for therapy such as EAP programs and using Out of Network (OON) benefits.
Insurance
We are in-network with several major insurance providers to further alleviate the financial burden. However, the best way to get the most accurate information on the cost is by calling your insurance company and discussing your plan with them. You can refer to this article on important questions to ask your insurance company about your plan.
Please note: We are not in network with Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield/BCBS. If this is your insurance plan, you may want to consider exploring your out of network benefits (OON) to cover the cost of therapy.
Insurance is different depending on what state each therapist is licensed in. Therefore, you must refer to the state you will be located in during therapy in order to see which therapists take your insurance.
Click the buttons below to find therapists in your state who are in-network with your insurance plan.
Private Pay
People choose private pay for many different reasons. We may not take your insurance, or your may not feel comfortable with your personal health information being disclosed to insurance companies. In order to use your insurance benefits, therapists must diagnose the individual with a mental health disorder included in the DSM V.
This may have a negative impact on people who work in aviation, the military, life insurance policies, or individuals who need a government security clearance in order to stay employed. If this is a concern for you, please contact your HR department to get clarification on what medical and mental health information they have access to.
For clients who prefer to pay out-of-pocket, our competitive cash pay rates are as follows:
Initial Intake session (60 minutes): $130
60 minute session: $130
45 minute session: $110
30 minute session: $90
